CARINA S
Steam Calender
The Carina S is the simplest version of the calenders family.
It was developed to meet a preliminary stage of the final finishing, where the textile article requires a previous steaming to adjust the width and to wet the fibers with steam to increase its compacting capacity. This pre-treatment helps to leave the fabric with an excellent appearance in the final phase and with the desired width in the calendering. It can also be used in the preparation of fabric for mercerization, as the vaporization helps to reduce the tensions caused in the looms.
When used for final finishing, it can be supplied with a non stop batcher or plaiter.
